from memory .... remove screws & "jiggle" it out. can't really remember much more than that drop the column down fully [using lever] so you have a "bit" more room

if need be msg me & i'll hava go at mine.

Here's the globes that I took out from a wreck AUII, identical to mine.

The cluster panel was already removed, would have been better if it was still attached so I can give it a go at removing it prior to removing mine.

From the Odometer / Trip meter, the globe base colour is green, its a dark green nearing to black. See pics
