Hi

Really need your answers

Do au/ba/bf latch assemblys bolt into a e series door or how do you make them fit

Will the rods connect to the eseries handles inside and outside and also what problems do those actuators have and if they break how do you go getting the door open to fix it

Apparently the latches from those models have the sensors built in that show exactly what doors not shut properly

Do the au on still have those door switch on each door to turn on interior light when doors open

Do the au onwards latches latch to or work with the e series door strikers or do you need au onwards door strikers too

Really need your help and answers

Thanks

Think i read somewhere they can be made to fit but was a bit of work cutting and making all new linkage rods, and maybe drilling a hole or 2 i cant remember.

the parts the break in au/ba/bf is the cog in the bottom the does the unlocking and locking mostly

yes those mechanisms had the switch to show what door was open if you had the right cluster was more a high series thing unless it was hooked up to the computer to check fault codes

if you have to go aftermarket actuators how do you fit them and make them work exactly as factory and how do you go about the door sensors getting replacement as good e series ones that go on the latch are hard to get most would be damaged by now
