Hi. I'm just finishing up a EB XR8 engine and auto trans conversion on my Xg ute.
Could anyone please tell me what triggers the reverse lights on the XR8 is it the two pin plug on the inhibitor switch?
My brain is pretty fried from fixing lots of bad wiring from the previous owner and this is the last hurdle before I register the ute.

The two-pin plug you mentioned on the inhibitor switch is likely the connection point for the wiring that leads to the reverse lights. Make sure this plug is securely connected and that the wiring leading from it to the reverse lights is intact and properly connected as well.
