Hi I have a 1DKD in an early 92 EDii with the 4.0 Auto and GLi Wagon...
i am looking at installing a J3 chip put would like to know if this ECU is a bit out dated to work effectively??

oh gay. i have 0DBC. that's 3.9 auto. But it was a factory manual car. lame

in the EA series the 4 spd auto had a separate control unit, so either ecu will run the engine, i think the only difference between the auto and the manual ECU's is where the idol sat.

But i was told the fuel and spark maps were different. And i mate has a 7dac or something. And it's a EA S pac wagon 3.9L 5 speed computer

Hey guys,
I have A WTHE ecu hear, i just want to confirm what it is. It apparently came out of AU1 xr8 auto, and i need to confirm it's a smartlock ecu, couldn't find it in the list. Anyone seen this code? the e looks like a revision. cheers Andrew
