Hi im getting a manual computer (doing manual conversion) the catch code is 4DAE can any1 comfirm this for me? Allso will i have problems with smartlock or using original key for car

4dae is ef manual. As said on facebook its a straight swap.

Hi all, soon my ecu doesn't have the sticker but it has a bunch of numbers engraved onto it, is there anywhere else I can find the catch code?

can i replace the 3DCD ecu in my 94 NC fairlane ghia with a 2DBD - 1993 ED XR6, AUTO, SEDAN ecu ( since it has the xr6 engine ) , thanks

ok l just went thru the catch codes for ef ecus an l have one that says 4dbd but is dated 12-06-94 but it says in your codes 4DBD - EF Futura 95' Sedan, 4.0, Auto, 3.08 which l got outa a Fairmont wagon as l have the BCM for it that's green to go with it
and l have another one that's 4dce and l couldn't see that anywhere on the catch codes an its dated 02-08-95 and l don't know what that's out of l just purchased a 95 dec built ef for my daughter that has a blue bcm need to know exactly which ecu to use if anything happens to hers out of the pair |

Been searching & searching for a website or something to verify Ford Explorer catch codes to no avail.
