Will a ecu reset work on a manual AUII xr8 if so will the car run ok ?

disconect the battery earth lead for about 15-20min reconnect and start the car. car will start fine

ive found disconnecting the battery overnight resets everything.... so much that my car wont resemble an idle for about 7 days and run like s**t

Theres no real gain unless youve done some engine mods like cam, headwork etc
