I just installed a megasquirt in my EF I6. The way I made my adaptor loom makes it almost plug and play. I didn't cut any wires at all to install it and it can be disconnected and the factory ecu reconnected in less than a minute. The factory ecu is still in place to control everything except fuel and spark.
