will a el ecu go into a ef with no probs or not ??? reason beeing been told that some ef ecu's wont alow a cam change so i thourt maby if i put a el ecu into it it might alow the change

nope, EL runs a dizzy while the EF has a coil so she wont work. EF ecu will be fine with a cam change.

ah yer thats rite forgot bout that dizzy thing and no iv done the cam change along been talking with another guy and we havent had any power change he said that some ef"s wont recenise the cam change dew to somthing to do with sertain ecu"s in some ef's and no one can work out why yet

na they can take cams, Ive had like 3 in mine

well me and wagondad have put new cams in this is my first 1 but hes had a few with no results

EF/EL ecu are the same thing, just one runs a coil and not a dizzy, same s**t different smell really

then why ant these ecu's recenising these cams that we have put in from rpd to wade and others aparently its hapend to a couple of others to

what do you meen by no results?? like it will not do anything (eg) not pick up a lump at idle nothing, Ive never heard of them doing it did you reset the computer after you put the cam in? it will take time for the ECU to adjust to the cam, mine took a little while for my R6 to settle in.

nar its got the lump at idle just no more power that the stoky cam but no less eather yer donr the comp reset and all the stuff from what iv been told and read in forums i should be breaking traction from the word go but nothing like that i got cold air zorst n stuff so its got me and a few others stuft why these sertain ef's ant doing what they should do mate

I think people talk up there cams a bit to much compared to what they really do.

EL ECU connector is not going to fit in an EF harness. You will need to change that loom and the engine loom + add in the dissy.
