Yes, it is on the passenger's side of the car approx under the back floor. Be gentle when undoing it and it might be an idea to have a 14mm tube nut spanner.

Left hand side chassis rail under the car around the middle. its an inline filter

You left out one thing you need though. Patience. The clip thing can be a prick, need a couple of flat blades.
