My fuel pump has shat itself and it cuts out every so often, should i buy a brand new one or get one from a wreckers, and how much should i be paying? Thanks for the help.

Well if you get one from wreckers it's gunna be just as old and possiably not last very long or already have a problem!
They retail a bit over $200.00 new at a car parts place like Repco - think that's teh Bosch one.

Check your wiring first if the problem is only happening intermitantly.

Better put a new one in... they muck around for a few weeks or months then let you down when your miles from anywhere... if your still driving it with the dodgy pump carry a big lump of wood and when it wont start bang the tank a few times... It'll start working again... for awhile

Second hand ones, thats why I said offers :)

One got 96DA one it, so guessing its from a EL

Or if your just after the motor, can do that too ..

Need to make room for more wrecks coming in!
