							hey all.

dont know if this is the right section or not. its sorta got to do with the ecu and that. i recently converted my fairmont to a manual and installed a hi series cluster. i've noticed when i drive around that the gear selector thingo on the cluster says 'N' when in gear and 'D' when not in gear and clutch pushed in. if i pull my clutch out when its not in gear it displays no letter and the car revs drop to like 450 and the car almost/does stall. i have done the resistor mod to trick the auto ecu in to thinking its in "n". i thought that that made the ecu think its in 'N' all the time? so i dont know why the selector thing is changing at all??!?! has anyone else noticed this? or knows wharts going on? cheerrs/

I will visit this problem when I install my T5 after xmas, I toyed with the idea of making the display work but there is insufficient room to add the switches to the gear stick. I dont know why the clutch would have anything to do with revs...
