dshep83 - yeah auto to manual should be possible (don't know 100%, I'd need a manual ecu dump and a manual car to test on), the other way not, as manual ECU's are missing the parts required for operation of the auto box, but that's not liekly to be a problem, auto ECUs are easy to find if someone ever wanted to convert from manual to auto :? .

opto - that's exactly what I'll be working on next, so I can make use of my extra revs.

ben_daui - nope, not looking to in the near future for now:
1. There's other options for V8's (TwEECer for example)
2. I don't have one to play with
3. The 6's are faster

I'll grab a price for for a Manual EL XR6 or Manual Police Pack (If Possible) ECU when you get it sorted out to put in my Futura if possible.

hey data_mine. just a quick questions you might be able to answer looking through all your information.

Been lots of debates about running a falcon to cool and it not leaving warm up mode using excess fuel.

Wouldnt be able to find that in any of the stuff you have pulled from the ECU's would ya? like what *c the car leaves 'warm up mode'

That's actally very pertinent, mines never getting much above the 'C' on the temp gauge, and it is chewing fuel. May have to look into it - or I've just got a f**k temp sender.

OR your thermostat could be stuck open? Mine is doing same thing and pretty sure thermostat is stuck open.
