are the $1000 that you get from WA gov and the $2000 from federal gov are additive?

isn't it amazing how a basic gas system can cost $3000

i did my wb ute a few years ago... some new and some 2nd hand parts cost me a total of ..... $300 parts + $122 for service line to be 'connected' a filler line and a compliance plate!

good luck to the gas guys! they've been dribbling business for yrs! they needed a boost

that rebate is great - getting a vapour injection system installed in about 2 weeks. originally had it booked in for a standard gas setup was $2600 and would've been installed a month ago, but decided to go for the injected job. expected to pay $5K less a $500 WA govt rebate, then they upped it to $1K, then the fed gov chipped with their $2K in so we're laughing... that rebate just paid for my new cam install with plenty to spare 8-)

your not wrong!!!

4 years ago i got a v8 val converted to gas it only cost $1400 and now to get my falcon converted to lpg its going to cost about $3600 and the price of lpg has close to doubled....

im not doing it this time considering the price of lpg is climbing and the government will be putting tax on it .
next thing you know gas will be as much as petrol!!!

at that price it will be the normal mixer type setup. not that many places seem to know much about vapour injection. I had it booked in at one of the bigger places in Perth (Mews) to get done and they also did vapour injection systems so i changed to that (price went from $2600 to $3800), then about a month and a half before i was due to have the install done they called to say they're now only doing vapour injection on BA's so they refunded my deposit and i went and found someone else to do it - ended up with a better more custom system but much more expensive ($5K).
should you do it? it depends what you're after - its more expensive but is supposed to be better power (near same as petrol) better economy and works better with mods... some systems (eg Parnell) are dual fuel, but mine will be straight gas just to keep it simpler
