I bought a Wolf, and had a few issues with the installation. I rang wolf and they were very helpful. They didn’t mind talking me through things on the phone, and e-mail up different configurations server time.

That's a first!
Why doesn't their ECU like a common as muck 36-1 VR crank encoder? Why can't it drive an MSD DIS-4 direct? Because they are a bad design..that's why.

Not trying to start an argument here, but the Wolf Version 4.61 supports 36-1 and 60-2 crank angle triggers. The only reason I bought one was because what other people locally have told me about them, and price. Saying that if I was going down this road again I would most likely not buy the wolf, and go with something like an EMS 8860.

Cheers

Didn't you just finish telling me you had to modify your crank encoder wheel because the wolf wouldn't trigger properly?
I believe the EMS people are listening because I've heard they are going to have a plug and play version for Fords next.
We'll see how they go.

Yer, they only just released the 36-1 and 60-2 setup, saying that I couldn’t work out how to get the 36-1 working, so I went down the track of grinding the teeth off. I spoke to Wolf about the problem and they came back to me saying that they had a small problem with the software for the 36-1 setup, but would fix it in about a week. It was a little disappointing that I couldn’t get away without grinding the teeth off, but hopefully they will have that all fixed soon and I'll put a new trigger gear on.
It'll be good if EMS releases a straight plug in for the falcon. If one was available I would have definitely gone with the EMS.
I think I’m just trying to do all this about 6 months to early. Next year we should have the choice of the EMS with plug in for the falcons, Tweecar, and maybe the BOSS edit..

Cheers

Yeah i don't think people realise that Boss-edit is a phrase coined in relation to SCT.
