							Thought I'd start a thread to keep it out of the build . Anyway the tuner says my 42lb injectors are nearly maxing out and I need a rising rate fuel reg ?  
				Now to my understanding after market ecu , bigger injectors and fuel pump is all that's needed , and those adjustable regs were the dodgy way to go with stock tune . It seems that most cars he tunes are using a rising rate reg with a microtech ecu . Not sure about bigger injectors . I'm going to get one of those regs but I do have a 400 kpa xr6 turbo reg I will use . Any opinions ?

							what fuel reg are you using now?? 
				i would fit an au fuel rail with the xr6t reg, the xr6t reg is 400kpa and is a 1:1 rising rate.. i was running the au 350kpa reg with 65lb injectors and they were only running at 30% on 12psi+ with heaps of room for improvement.. if a ba xr6t with 29lb injectors can make 200+rwkw you shouldnt have any issues with 42lb injectors.. if your ecu can run low imedance injectors i have a set of 65lb delphi injectors for sale if your interested...  |

							Who's tuning your car (I suspect its Motortech)? I think you should find another tuner before you buy a rising rate fuel regulator.

							Not them , kev at south coast rotary . I already have a 400kpa xr6 turbo reg . Just need a au fuel rail .  
				Can the billet fuel rails for ba -Bf fit ? There only $160 on eBay , would look better than the standard rail .

							When I put my foot down a big puff of black smoke comes out but goes away once boost comes on .  
				I think the low power has to do with how my boost controller is set up . I have it starting to open at 4 psi . It's set at 10 psi but max boost its making is 8.5 psi . I'm thinking the engine is having to work harder to make max boost as it starts dumping it at 4 psi . so I'm going to fit a 10 psi spring , run 10 and set to open at 10.

							ahk is that to save your T5?, Your power seems pretty low for 8.5psi boost. My brothers dead stock AU XR6 VTC with a pretty small turbo at 8psi is making 230rwkw. Has the mob that is tuning your car tuned falcon turbos like yours before? 
				I wondering if its actually making 4psi max boost. You have a good setup and cam, It should be making more.

							Nah not worried about the t5, my tuner only tunes rotarys,so mostly mazdas. I think I'm the first with a turbo falcon . 
				I'll see how it feels after I change the spring and make the gate open later, he says he can't get anymore power out of it as injectors are maxing out, which is impossible. I was disappointed when it didn't even make 200rwkw . I've done everything the right way and have potential to make alot more than that on 8 psi . Who knows what's going on , I don't think the dyno reads low as the car doesn't feel much more powerful than when it was n/a with 977b and 157 rwkw .

							The reason I had the gate to open at 4 psi is because I was going to run 6 psi but decided to set the controller to 10 psi , but forgot to change when the gate starts to open. I think the gate opening this early is causing the low power .
