Im curious as to whether or not these would be legal over in Oz since they have that "pod filters must be enclosed" rule :roll:

Would that rule apply to the RAMPOD setups seeing as they arent enclosed?

Definately looks pretty good though, its like a huge round filter on a massive bellmouth 8-)

unfortunatly in aus all air filters must be shielded,enclosed ect.

In QLD, as long as it's secured with a bracket(which it is) it's ok to have installed. Suncorp insurance has added modified intake to my mod list on policy....

cheers and have a nice day {BTW $36 delivered too my door, luv ebay}

That lightly strike thing airbrushed onto the intake looks quite cool futurama_95..

I reckon an anodized blue powder coated rocker cover would look s**t hot combined with that.

Could someone please explain the need to have a little air filter on a tube that appears to be a "still air" cavity between the PCV and the intake manifold? I would like to put some sort of a filter between the rocker cover and the air intake parts to stop the oil pick up that happens at high RPM (you all must have seen the inside of a E series BBM !!?!!) and have been slowly devising a cunning plan for some time. What does XH XR6's setup do, and how does it do it?

It would appear he is using that tube as an oil catch can.

And nicely fabricated and presented too.

Cheers
