							Hi all,
Because my car is a manual but the ECU is from an auto (resistor trick) I'd like to have the ISC work when the engine is cold.. but then use a relay to disconnect it when the engine is warm and doesn't need it anymore. I could rig up a thermister but I'm wondering if there isn't some other trigger I could use to kill the ISC... I thought about thermo's, but they would probably kick on way after I'd like the ISC turned off. basically about 2 minutes after the car is started I'd like to turn off the ISC... perhaps a timer? any thoughts would be welcome. regards Frank |

Why don't you get one of Jason's (TI Performance) customised tunes on a J3 chip.
He's sorted out the dashpot settings, etc with the tune.

							he did?
I thought it still had the problem where it held the revs briefly.... That is why I currently have the isc turned off now. I also have speed sensitive steering which I'm fond of and don't want to lose. But I'm planning to get a J3 for the charger install anyway.. so if it allows me to keep the speed sensitive steering and doesn't hold the revs before slowly dropping them down I might just get one now. Do you have J3 ? |
