So i picked myself up a EL manual XR6 ecu off ebay for $100 a while ago for my engine install but now when im looking at im not sure it is in fact an el computer? Someones written '98 el xr6 manual ecu and the part number is 95DA-12A650-AC or 5DAC for shirt I think it is anyone know???

EF ecus are 100pin where the EL computers are 60pin is that right?

oh well my car ant the computer is at my mates place so when im there next working on it ill have to have a look and see once and for all!

hey all I checked my ECU and its definately 5DAC but it has 60 pins for the EL loom??? I have EL loom in my car and it plugs straight in, my mate has as EF XR computer and its blue with 104 pins so im all like WTF

Does it still have the fair dinkum authentic Ford sticker and barcode labels on it? I guess you have learnt a very important lesson from this?

yeah its still got the stickers and stuff on it so I really dont know? lol what lesson might that be? Not to believe everything you read on the internets lol
