does anyone know if EA MPEFI/CFI distributors are interchangeable with XF EFI dizzy's? i know the cap and rotor button ate the same

ford list them as being different numbers. the shafts and internal modules are differnet.

The dizzy will drop into the block. I have a XE mag dissy in my ED motor to run the aftermerket ecu. I think the position of the TFI module is different which may foul on something.

had this problem with an ea speedway car. the xf dizzy has the gear further down the shaft. will chew teeth off the gear if run for too long. easy fix...take gear off, turn over, put back on shaft and drill new hole thru shaft for pin
