i agree, put the tail pipe back on. 6's dont sound as good as 8's when dumped at the diff.

Thanks for the warning, Im getting that cat fitted this monday. In saying that though, Im also getting a 6" hotdog, 16" straight offset muffler and an oval resi for the tailpipe fitted too. I have heard this combo in an EL and its quiet but louder than a stock exhaust. Sorry to hijack your thread twr7cx

I shortened a quiet exhaust in another car i owned once and it got loud. So i think that needs to be taken into account. If you want a diff dump, more muffling is needed.
