okay, well the new engine is being put in, on either Thursday, or Monday next week...
this consists of:
- full engine rebuild
- performance pistons (9.6:1 compression)
- engine balance

shortly after will come the extractors, magnaflow cat, 2 high flow mufflers and 2 1/2 inch mandrel bend cat back.

my question is, which cam would suit this setup? without changing over the ecu... or.... is there a suitable package to suit a 4.0L manual EB with both ecu and cam?

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

ask chiptorque. They have a number of chip/cam combinations and can get chips to suit custom cams too. around $1000 including cam and chip.

For best results though you need an aftermarket ECU. Prices start from around $1100 + tuning and installation.
