i realise this question is like " how long is a piece of string" but here goes. im aware that the variables are many eg: ambient temp, track temp, tyre pressure etc but with the mods to my car does anyone with the SAME mods-exactly the same especially the cam done a 1/4 mile time or run and can give me some idea (ballpark figure) of what id be looking at.

i cant and dont have the time to get to motorplex here in perth to do a run and am just curious, i know it goes well and you would have to be dead to not feel when she comes on cam( as its not subtle).

xr6 engine and 3.45lsd and ecu---its a series 2 ghia
ticky auxr8 intake snorkel/pod sealed in airbox
extractors
2 1/2 in straight thru system
wade 1636 cam
variable shift modulator/auto

well thats about it...thanx

Mid to high 14's I'd guess? Not too sure on how the cam goes.

I reckon 15.7 - 15.8 - there's quite a fair few with the same mods and i don't think I have ever seen anyone crack much better than that

Okaaaaaay....

Mid to high 15's I say, though that depends on how fit your engine is.
Could be worse, could be better.
How many clicks are up on it?

I doubt you'd have much on my manual xr6... maybe 15.4 or so.

the fact its an auto is the biggest killer! mid 15's i'd imagine, low 15's/high 14's with a manual :)

mate over here has a series 1 fairmont ghia he did a ticky conversion so hes got:

xr6 engine and ecu
stock s/s diff
ticky auxr8 intake snorkel
extractors
2 1/2 in straight thru system
hiflow cat
shift kitted auto

and he said he runs 15.6

pretty much what u have except diff and cam.

so i would of thought that u would get abit better then that.

Well... I have what you have in an EL, but with EL GT wheels.

Will find out exactly how she goes in the FM Heathcote day in 2 months.

But i'm betting on the 15.5 -> 15.6 figure. Last time was a 15.8 with the stock cam.

hyena is in the 14s... i think 14.7... but thats with 170rwkw and a fully rebuilt motor, and more importantly... manual transmission.

I'd take a punt and say your pushin around 140rwkw maybe a little more, and mid 15s, maybe a low 15. Good luck though mate, there are freak cars out there!
