Anyone changes a Evaporator core in ef????

yer i used a 2 screw drivers but if i had hack saw blade i would have use that.

hey relaxed_diplomacy have you thought of it as this way the aftermarket evaporator has been redesigned to fix the common design fault of leaking where it was.

also the evaporator is jayair which from what ive herd was a good brand anyhow and know how car manufactures are today there proberly buying in jayair products and sticking there ford badge on them and selling them for 300% more aftermarket price.

well i replaced the evaporator and did a few dash mods and fixed a broken flap on airbox and it took me 5-6hrs and i even f**k up like 5 times and redo things

Okay, now i'm not sure. The regas man quickly told me the OE ones leak in that place. Did you see where the old one leaked and the jayair one looks better there? The ford one is twice the price so you wouldn't even consider it unless it's better.
