ok i want to fit a 1999 au gear box to my ed 4.0ltr until i replace the motor as well. can this be done????

the bellhousing is actually a little different. but all the big bolts will line up tho. but u could just but your old bellhousing on the new box.

Yes just use your old bell housing, keep the new one incase you go to an AU motor though.
