Whats the going rate/average cost of an AU head gasket (genuine Ford, not aftermarket)? Cheapest I've found is around $80.00 (City Motors) which I thought was rather high...

Yes, aftermarket ones are much much cheaper. But there not metal like the genuine Ford AU ones (theyre the same as the EF/EL style ones). And we deal with City Motors so I'll hopefully get trade price on the gasket to get the cost cheaper, but I still think it's bloody expensive! |
