Ok, Is the Fuel pump same EB (xr6) to AU (xr6)?

i got specifitcations for EA/EB/ED

Delivery (min) 240cc @ 275kPa
(XR6) 280cc @ 300kPa

These are the same for EF/EL which i got the book too!

i dont have a book for AU!

I think EA to AU is same fuel pump pressure!

i think youll find it easier to use the AU1 ECU as it uses smartlock instead of smartsheild

Hi Frank, My car is EB series II with the smartlock!

Are you using AU I ECU with the VCT engine and what sort of Modifications did it require eg additional sensors and wiring?

Could you please advise, and also what car did you install this engine in?

Thanks,

Frank has an AU1 XR6HP, it is twason who is putting the VCT AU motor into his EF

Yep , in and done. I would steer clear of the AU ECU in anything other than AU or EF unless you are doing a complete rewire. If I were you I would be going to the EL ecu and using the BBM output to drive the VCT. I cheated and installed a microswitch on the BBM to trigger the VCT.

good solution and much easier...tho not quite perfect..

what phases does the cam move through relative to RPM?

AU VCT is a lot cruder than the BA version, its either on or off.
