Hi all,
I havent had a decent powered car for a while now and itching for it so im thinking i should do a engine conversion in my EL XR6 till i find a immaculate EF/EL XR8. Doing a BA/BF engine conversion and wanted to know cost's and whats involved in the conversion, till i find a nice XR8 I already have a fabricator to cut K frame and tuner and may have someone to install BA/BF factory ecu and exhaust shop. If anyone who has done the conversion plz chime in and give me a run down. Im tossing up if i should just buy BA/BF long block and get a 6boost T04Z turbo kit to have a fresh turbo setup??? Thanks in advance

Do a search as this has been covered many many a times before.
From memory, you need to modify the bonnet and also change the interior for dash cluster to fit and other things. But do a search

Thats very helpful advice bud  LOLIts actually a 3 part question and the main is COST and no one has costs in there thread which im mainly looking at.

That is because alot of people that have done it, have done all the manufacturing work themselves.

cost depends on where you source the parts.. and thats going to be different for a lot of people.
do some research yourself and price things to get a good idea. given there are drive in/drive out conversions for a little under $7000

Drive in Drive out for $7000.00 sounds good to me but who does that in Sydney???
If my bro didnt move to QLD then things would be much easier as he knows how to do conversions pretty well.
