I have read the threads on oil. But I have been told a thicker oil should be used in cars that run on gas. Is there any truth to this?? I have previosly used 20w/50 is this too thick?? Anyones advise appreciated! Ta

No need for thicker oil. Gas in fact burns cleaner so your oil does not become contaminated as fast. et the best oil you can afford preferably synthetic.
