well bout a month ago i put a stage 2 crow cam in and didnt do anything else. well as my motor is worn and floged.... i broke it :) opps..... o well

Crank Assembly balanced, HV oil pump, ACL Trimetal bearings, "1 extra oil clearance taking to around 0.0650-0.0700 on mains and big ends, Moly rings,, Xr6 Cam, POD ( Possibly oversize injectors), Block, Head, Timing cover, belt idler, Alternator,painted in ford light blue

not worth fixing to me. i was gona put my new motor in soon anyway so nows just an excuse. ill sell as much of the old gear as i can tho.

a cam's a cam its not what broke. its because i didnt change the springs or retainers.

Same thing happened to me after fitting a new cam. The reason mine broke, as I tightened down the rocker gear one of the HLA's wasnt fully seated into the rocker arm, as it went in on an angle and seated it cracked the rocker but didnt fully break it, mine let go half way down the quater, slow noisy drive home that was.

Ive done that, mine was because i didnt no about the EL hybrid (AU head) :oops: so i put an EL cam, it was a Wade 1673, thought it fit and started it lol CLUNK!!! :evil: s**t broke it, then i got new rocker gear and got an AU1645 this time, no chip....BOOM :cry: blew the sparks to kindom come!! All because the timing was way out sux balls, so i just got a new engine (AU) J3 and put the Wade 1645 in again and................KILLA hits 2.500rpm like it was power band. LOVE IT :P Its Amazing tho, it took me only about an hour to put in EASY PEASY, dunno why a** wipes charge an arm and leg for installation!! :roll:
