I've been chasing an idle issue with my EL for a while now. Basically, sometimes when I first take off and brake to turn, the car either jumps to really low revs or it stalls (only happens if I haven't driven the car overnight or leaving from work). Have noticed it mainly does it when it's cold.

Every now and then, when I brake to a set of lights or such, the car again drops the revs really low and sounds like it's about to stall. This also happens when I turn at smaller round-a-bouts.

Here's what I've tried so far to fix the issue:

Changed inlet manifold gasket
Cleaned ISC and TB with carby cleaner
Changed injectors
Taken out the J3 chip
Check hoses at the back for leaks; none visibly seen

Haven't changed the plugs just yet, and the leads have done about... 10,000k's I think?

Any help here would be great!

sounds like a faulty isc if it is doing it with and without the j3.
