Hi guys, I changed my head gasket on friday and im now having sone starting issues.

After I changed it it took a while to start but finally ran eventualy, then after about 30 seconds it stalled, which I assumed was because the timing chain was to tight (was whiring like a supercharger) so I re-adjusted it and now the thing wont start.
It will f@rt and carry on but refuses to start. Even when I tried roll starting it. Its getting fuel and spark, all timing has been checked and is in order.
This thing has got me stumped but I need it running for work tomorrow so any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Tomo

Is the cam timing correct?

When you cleaned the deck, did you cover the coil?

if the timings correct, and you haven't hit valves, i'd be betting on weak spark.

Its getting good spark, a nice blue/white colour, and I can smell the fuel lol. I checked the cam timing first cos I have had timing problems with another car before.
It try's to start if I hold the throttle wide open but just wont fire up, maybe im just not holding my mouth right lol
