If they are same as EL you have to drop the pan - hoist is required.....transmission service, rougly $140 for a typical service, i think that includes oil change, replaced filter and gaskets.

Makes life much easier. I spose you could do it on ramps/stands...
All you need to do is drop the pan off the bottom of the trans and hey presto - it's drained (and likely all in your hair and clothes)... no, seriously - put a pan underneath it, ATF is disgusting... this exposes the filter - just follow your nose to remove... put back together with new filter/gasket and fil er up with ATF... hopefully your trans has a dipstick, makes it nice and easy to fill... Getting fluid out of torque converter a bit tricker... do the filter change, put back together and fill ATF as per dipstick... then disconnet the fluid line going to your radiator... run the engine for short amounts of time... get a mate to start it while you watch the ATF line, once you see 1L come out, stop the engine and put another litre in... do this until everyone/everything is covered in ATF and the stuff coming out is the same colour as the stuff you are putting in... prolly need a good 10L of ATF to flush it all out... filter and gasket kit from repco/motortraders(coventrys), prolly $30.... 10L of ATF prolly $50 odd?

But if you haven't done it for a long time. You will probably need a Full-Service Treatment where they take out all the Oil from the tranny excluding the Torque converter obviously and that usually costs around the $300 mark
