Sounds very siimilar to a thread I read an another forum about a year ago. They took a I6 past 300 cubes with a offset crank and 4" pistons. Reliability is the issue. From memory despite stepping back through the piston/rod combos I dont think they got anything that was both worth the effort and reliable despite some extensive machining.

Be interesting to see what happens here.

This engine would be great fun in a TE cortina, nearly 350kg weight difference.

A new HSV GTS does mid 13's and that is $100000, if you can get a NA6 doing 13's i reckon thats pretty good

$70,000 actually...

If your going to correct someone, at least get the right answer - $75,990 before any options - start ticking some boxes and you get to $78,680 and then I assume there's taxes and charges ontop of that too?

OK guy's

the first one will be up & running in aprox 2weeks now that will have my stage 2 head & cam on it & running factory ECU the usall inlet & exhaust mods as well.

There will be 3 versions made with 3 compression ratios to pick from I will give the exact info on this later on.

I will give you a base price as a short motor or you can buy it as a long, if you want for it to handle more hp then the option prices are to be added, again when I get a chance a full itemised description will be on here so you'll know exactly what's in it.

dyno resault will be availble after its run in....... what I've worked out I'm expecting around 150-165 rwkw on my dyno....... on a Dyno Dynamic add 15- 25 rwkw '' & I'm not going to go in that argument '' !!

as with every thing that I want to do is just trying to find the time to do it all........

thanks for your comments good or bad, I dont want to re-invent the wheel just make it go faster

After you put it on the dyno, you need to take it to WSID for a 1/4 mile time.
Good Work.

Perhaps your right! But even when us B-series boys win on the Dyno, we still get smashed down the quarter! lol *Disclaimer: this is in MY case only, perhaps not all* lol
