i have a ed fairmont and putting in a el /ef xr6 motor in it that has the half dizzy set up with coilpack can i adapt this set up to my edor not

Not without a LOT of work.

Is the donor engine from an EF or EL as only the EF has the coilpack setup. The EL went back to using a dizzy.

It is relatively straight forward to install a dizzy in an EF engine but you should use the gear on the sync sensor you pull out of the EF on your dizzy.
