I have a EF Falcon GLi. Would it be worthwile to upgrade to a custom air intake or a AUII Snorkel? I am only 17 and just got my license and thinking about it for my first mod

if you got the money go a custom intake, otherwise part with $40 and get a AU snorkel (ELGT ones are the same minus the tickford logo)

good luck with it mate

Hey, i wouldnt bother getting one of those ss inductions or what ever, you should go spend $35 bucks on a au tE50 snorkel, I got mine from lynford in osborn park. And if you should invest in a decent air filter like k&n or something. Wont make much differance in power but you should notice better response and you can reuse it so no more buying new filters.

Go the EL GT snorkel. It is a straight swap & fits under the rubber unlike the tickford Au . Good Luck

I went for GT Snorkel, direct fit, no need to drill holes like the Tickford one.

i definately wouldn't waste $300 on an SS induction. picked up an au tickford snorklel for about $40, two minutes to drill two new holes, and u also have the tickford logo in your engine bay

Oh jees, no one is giving the poor guy a answer.

Your options basically as mentioned are the AUII XR8 Snorkel or the EL GT Snorkel. K&N or Redline Panel Filter (redline made by k&n, just cheaper pricetag). Redlines are about $75-95 depending where you go. Snorkel as mentioned $30-45.

Alternatively, for $250-350 fitted you can get yourself an exhaust as well which im sure you'd rather then some induction at this point of your first cars purchase.
