Difference between standard ECU and Tickford ECU in EF 6cyl?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone can tell what is the difference between the standard ECU in an EF 6cyl compared to a ECU in a XR6 Tickford, i.e will it remove speed limiter, increase throttle response things like that??
