im thinkin of a new rocker cover for my ef but i think the ef/el ones are pretty plain can people post up pics of the diffrent covers that will fit on tickford 3.9l 4.0 whatever

Ive got an AU one on my ef. It is painted red, its looks heaps better than the ef one in my opinion!

there is a slight difference in the ea and series 1 eb rocker covers the ea/eb1 has a rubber half moon at the front and rear of the cover and the eb2 onward have the half moon cast into the rocker cover and use a o ring type seal instead of the rubber gasket ..

That isn't correct, it was the last of the ED's in 94 that started to get the cast-in halfmoon on the rocker cover. Also with this change, they stopped using studs & nuts, and went to bolts with anti-crush tubes, the same as the XH utes.

i was close .
i wasnt 100% sure if it was eb2 or ed that changed..

because i have seen a few fairly std ebs with the later type aswell but as you know people change heads and covers around ..

is there any with tickford wings on them

i know my motor aint tickford but they look better

im thinkin spray black or powercoat black not sure yet but i wanna keep silver lines and anything else (if that makes sence) i was gunna paint it then sand off the bits i want silver then i might brake a can of red engine paint and apply the silver bits with a small brush
