Location: Kelvin Grove, Brisbane
QLD, Australia

Hi all, I am a bit of newb so excuse me if I seem niave. Can anyone make any suggestions for some basic mods to my EB II straight6? I've only owned this car for a short time and I would like to beef it up a little...I dont have a lot of scratch at the moment...so basically I want to start from the bottom up and make this Falcon a force to be reckoned with...details are below:

1993 EB II GLi
Auto
4.0 ltr 6 Cyl Inline w/multi-point injection
Ford S 16" 5 spoke mags with crap Tyres
Paint need some work & a little rust here and there, but nothing major
MP3 player

The car is pretty much stock.

Something cheap and worthwhile to start off with would be to buy a K&N filter and a XH snorkel :D

Cheers for the advice mate, how much roughly would a K&N Filter and XH Snorkel set me back?

I wasn't sure they made a Tickford snorkel to suit the EB-ED 4.0 but I know the XH snorkel works well cause I have one on my EB

K&N filter is usually around $130 depending on where you go and the XH snorkel will set you back around $30 to $40.

Here's a link to buy a BMC filter if you'd prefer that over a K&N.

There is no Tickford snorkle for an EA-ED. You're thinking of EF-EL. They're completely different shapes, because the EF/EL airbox is 'upside-down'
