i can get an EB XR6 engine from a local wrecker. Now what did they really have over a standard engine? correct me on anything if i'm wrong

* 300kpa fuel pressure regulator
* better flowing head
* better cam
* bigger valves
* red rocker cover

was that it? i wanna know if it's worthwhile. i'm currently running a original power 139kw 3.9L with 305,000kms on gas since 80,000kms and a bottom end knock. it's gotta be better than that lol

different ECU also.
going from 139kw to 161kw from a simple engine change is worth it imo

161kw? i thought it was 152 or something

but i didn't think a 4.0L computer could work due to mine having a seperate TCM. i tried a 4L manual computer once and the car wouldn't even start

A lot of 4.0 ecu's have smartlock, so if your car does not have smartlock, it won't start, any ecu with part number 93XX will have smartlock, you have get 4.0 ones that are 91XX that don't have smartlock ....

you won't notice any difference in a 3.9 ECU vs 4.0 ECU I have a 4.0 ECU thats 91XX that does not have smartlock if you are interested!..
