the white plug you can see is plugged into the wiring loom. it then has 2 black wires (earth?), a pink/yellow wire (low beam), a pink/white, and pink/black and pink/red(indicator).
now the pink/white and pink/black both come on with the high beam. i am unsure as to why there are 2 high beam wires. i have tried to add them to the feed for low beam to see if they might feed the low beam while the high is on but all that acheived was having all 4 lights on on either hi or low

my car had the 2 wires for the high beams there already. basically you doo this.. no earth to low beam just 1 high beam wire and one low beam wire.
high beam has a hig beam wire and an earth.
it looks like you only need to earth the whole shebang by the one earth wire to the high beam. i ran the leftover earth i had to the body just to be safe..

ok mine still not going properly.. had a mini meltdown last night.. can someone with the twin lights please tell me what colours the wires are. starting at the black wiring plug with orang/green, blacks, red/black etc etc going to each individual light.. that way i can wire mine up to match.. my wires are everywhere from the black plug and i am gunna pull out everything between the wiring loom and the lights and make my own little looms for the lights. so any help would be great.. i will take pics along the way and post them up for others to follow..

ok
the thick black is earth for low and high beam, the thin black is earth for parker globe.
the green/orange is high beam power, red/black is low beam power and brown is parker globe power.. thats it...

and this is the plug for the diod link under the header tank..

ok well i rewired the headlights following the colours you gave me..
the lights all come on on high beam and only the lows on low beam.. this is great it works as it should. i got rid of the white plugs and wired it up using spade plugs and new wires with my own colour coding (which i have written down)
now i ask you this. under the header tank there is a diode already there other than the one i have to put in.. what does this doiode run cause i used it to test my lighting system and if i can get away with it for the weekend i will leave it n there. i just cant find what it runs and dont want to run the risk of not having something like the ECU not working properly or someting silly like that.

im not sure what the second one is for..

what you can do is use 2 spade connectors with a short piece of wire and bridge the headlight one untill you get another one...
