Anyone able to tell me if I remove the bottom bolt on the EF I6 engine mount (the long one that bolts the engine mount to the K-frame). Will the engine drop down? Or does this bolt just hold the engine mount in place? (I'm hoping the later as I need to remove it and replace it).

It's best to use a jack or crane to take the weight of the motor as you remove/fit these bolts.

Cheers Paul. Hmmmm... The passenger side one was no trouble at all, came out nice and smooth and replacement went in fine. The drivers side is being a prick. The bolt was hard to get out and the new one isn't happily going in. |

just pop a jack underneath the motor and it'll slide in
