ok my EF XR6 has been getting worse lately and me nor my mechanic can work out wats wrong with it, firstly when i rev it in neutral the revs dont drop as quick as they use to like take ages to get back down to idle, and the main problem/ more trubling (for me any way) is that wen i punch it, it seems to not have the power is used to like it only used to happen in 2nd and 3rd but now its basicly in all gears. like it will start to go and then between 2000 and 3000RPM it starts to just bog down...then after about 3200 ish it just goes fine again till i hit the next gear... has any one herd of this? any help would b much appreciated

A vacuum leak or conversely an over fueling problem will cause that hang on deceleration and a loss in power. Probably need to put it on a dyno or stick a krypton up the tail pipe to see if it is running rich or lean.

cheers
Scott
