what would be typical rwkw's for a EL and also for a stock BA manual, as someone I know claims their stock BAxr6 5speed has 155kw at the wheels.

Wouldn't suprise me. 182 kw's at the fly from factory (or somewere around that), being a manual doesn't loose as much power through the drive line as an auto. 155kw's at the rears means that there around a 15% lose of power through the driveline - maybe give a little to say the dyno was a bit friendly with it's reading and it sounds feasable to me...
EL prolly 90-110kw's in stock depending on the car and dyno. |

I didnt think they had that much more as its not hugely quicker than my EL auto up to about 100k's anyway.

They increased both the power and the weight hence why it may not feel quicker because it may not be due to the extra weight it is lugging around! |

a couple of weeks ago there was a thread on someone dynoing theyre stock series 1 ba xr6... think was auto... but it got 135 rwkws or thereabouts... (stock) N/A

yeah the ba's are whales! nothing can be done about the weight except take out the spare tyre
i removed the back seat a couple times to install wiring and i reckon the whole rear bench weighed bout 1 kg! the panels are flimsy, but its once you get underneath you realise where all the weight is! the chassy rails are big! not to ention the IRS system.

Mine pulled about 135rwkw when it was bog standard (its an auto).. I suppose 155rwkw isn't out of the question for a manual with a slightly optimistic dyno.

155RWkW is a big NO NO for a manual, thats a 20kW HIKE! you cant lose that much power because of a converter. 10kw O.K but no way hoeysay 20kW!

Remember theres two factors here, a. the difference in the power loss between the different transmissios and b. the different dynos, more than likely not exactly in tune with each other! |
