Also when you swap out the BA stuff for El stuff you'll have to cut the hole and fit the EL column so you can run the right barrel and may as well set up the smartlock Seeing as your going with full EL dash and and all... Run the EL wheel and Air bag and transfer all the crash sensors over... That will be easier then trying to get the BA barrel to start the smartlocked computer, esp if your running the EL BEM...

Not that, if it were me, I'd be in a big hurry to try and steal a BA with an EL dash and motor in it... :?

But you said you know anyway so keen to hear the item specifics...

Cheers,
Tim

the whole idea is retarded, im not sure why anyone here has bothered posting up any useful detailed advice

if you have an E-series drivetrain & turbo kit ready to go on, then why dont you fit that into a cheap E-series and save yourself hassles x10

+1 This is the dumbest idea Ive seen all week, and that includes the dumb ideas ive had. You may as well drop a cleveland in it. At least then you wont have to f**k around with the electrics.

Good point too below BenJ.

Also, usually a transplant is for a more powerful motor into a lighter car...

And even if you do get it to work it is very unlikely it will be legal to drive on the road, as the EL engine will need to meet the emissions standards of the BA.

I like the idea. Throw all the 90's s**t into something 2000's. I don't think he wants a heater box, climate control or even air con guys.

I like the idea, although I don't think I am that retarded... I'm damn sure I heard him saying that it didn't have to be road worthy as he was using it for some specific purpose....

But it is well known I am retarded.

Well and truly a retard.

Actually, you have a good point fiend, I think he only wanted to do a burnout car.

Bolt motor and box in, put a CPI manifold with a carby and give the Holden boys a piece of s**t ford to yap on about!!
