Exhaust: 2.5" Mandrel Bent is recommended. Suggested brands are Lukey or Redback. Average Prices range from $250 to $350. Expect only a small power increase.
Most people like to order these without the rear resonator for a louder/better exhuast note.

Extractors: Pacemaker, HM, Wildcat, JMM, Lukey and Hurricane are some of the more well known brands. Pacemaker and JMM are generally regarded as the best brands to try. Longer, small diameter pipes will generally give a good gain in torque across the rev range, whereas shorter, large diameter pipes will give mainly top end gains only (Good for Blown motors). Combined with a decent exhaust gains of up to 15rwkw could be made. Look for mandrel bends for best results. Prices Vary depending on model - $300 to $550.

Catalytic Converter: Generally a High Flow cat will give you little or no improvement if your current cat is in good order. Standard Cats however are only 2.25" diamater so it may be worthwhile upgrading to a 2.5" high-flow if your budget can extend that far, or modifying the stock one. Average prices range from about $100 to $300.

or mods your stock one to fit.
you will find with exhausts if u remove the rear muffler or resi it will drone a whole more than a manual. ceramic coating i would not have a clue

I have genie's on my el xr6 and there was an instant noticable power gain. feels great now so much more mid-range compaired to before.

Been driving my brothers EBII with exhaust and genie's it seems to lack down low an starts to pull quite abit up the top, In my EL i have Pacemaker 4480 with full exhaust, and it seems to s**t loads more all over the rev range and the power is smooth.

Maybe my el being a manual means i dont notice the down low as much although it has heaps more than before, it really used to labour. Its weird i always thought my EB had more down low than the EL but the EL reved alot better (that was when the EB was N/A).

I had genies on an eb2 once, with 2.5 inch exhaust and one muffler. sounded perfect. power came on hard after 2900 all the way to the top. sounded chunky as with no drone down low and screamed hard at the top.

Cermaic coating your headers is a good idea as it keeps the gasses that bit hotter (and hotter gas = higher velocity, which in turn = more torque and hp).

Mandrel bends are a must at the headers, but if on a budget not 100% neccesary on the exhaust. on a 2.5 crush bent system the worst it will go down to is 2.25 inch, and thats about the restriction of a sports muffler anyway.

Only really worth getting mandrel bent exhaust if you have high flow cat, and straight through low restriction muffler, for example hooker aerochamber which flows 98% of a 2.5 inch pipe.

If you have stacks of cash pacemaker 4480's (ceramic coated) with a high flow 2.5 inch metal cat, 2.5 mandrel stainless steel exhaust, hooker aero muffler, and one ressi should be the go. its my ideal system anyway. Just dont have stacks of cash rofl.

Have Genies on my ED motor together with 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust and a 3 inch magnaflow cat.

Power is massively up from standard.. (but it has an Xr6 cam as well)

Still, the EL motor with the M90 supercharger on it in my shed will probably go better. :-)

i got Lukey Motavators on my EL, with a Redback 2 1/2'' mandrel bent exhaust with no rear resinator, and a high flow cat to finish it off.

sounds pretty awesome, bit too loud though.
