Ok im lost, is this the shiftkit thats like paddleshift and so on ?

Please exlpain sorry man haha relatively new to this type of stuff

Ok, so, all you get is a little box, that contains a computer chip, that wires into your ECU of your car. When you turn it on, it makes the automatic shifts firmer, with no 'downtime' or 'lag' between the gear shifts. Its just like driving a manual, with no clutch, and obviously it shifts for you cos its an auto.

Ahh i understand now, is it an easy job to do yourself or not something to fiddle around with ?
This is definitely something im going to buy %100.

By the way finchy , how many Km's has your car done ?

It depends Dylan how handy you are if you can do the DIY , if not then purchase the kit

all it really does is make the shifts quicker and firmer its more of a feeling kind of thing i reckon

Well, when i first looked at all those wires coming out of the ECU i was like, "what am i doing?"
But, after a while of figuring out which wires to cut and solder (I actually didnt solder anything, just looped it up, my car will probably break down at somepoint cos a wire will become loose) I eventually got it. I felt like a bomb disposal expert! But its quite a simple job, even though it might not look it at the time, just follow the instructions and youd be sweet! I bought the $115 kit. I cbf actually making the dam thing! That would take ages!
And its totally worth it! It goes HARD!

Approaching 200k fast. ATM its done around 193000 i think. Still, a very reliable engine!

Yeah you totally did! haha

Yeah, a gain about the same as when i added the cat back system. So an alright gain.
Its got alot of power now! Need that cam and j3 to fully release the potential of the engine

Its pretty loud now. One of my mates said it sounds like one of the new xr6's :)

1636 ( which is fine for stock ECU) theres so many to pick for with the E series

yea get a regrind its so not worth getting a billet , hmm which ones the AU1645 i cant find it in there cataloge il Google it though for you

what are you looking for ? ive noticed with the AU's they low end power you don't need to much due to if your going to take of hard you will most likely get wheel spin as the car already sits so something for low to med range would be preferable , whats your say though ?

Yeah, im sorta looking for low to mid. I dont travel that much at the high revs
At the moment it sorta kicks around 2500-3000 revs, if it could kick at like 2000 or something that would be epic.
