Hey forum, my new stereo in my Falcon has being playing up lately(i think the speaker wire is loose) and i want to take it out and fixed it but then realised i need the special screw driver, you guys know what im talking about. so does any one know where abouts i can purchase one and what they are called would be very helpful.

its called a "security torx bit", can be found at repco, autobahn or any tool shop.

Yea i got mine From Autobarn!
Supercheap auto was crap i explained what i was after in extreme details and they tried walking me to the regiester with a Tork Wrench till i shared a few choice words with the guy like "you" and "are a jerk" haha !

Last time I was there they said, if you want to just come around and show me how to find it on our program. ![]() Now if you want a difficult tool to get your hands on try finding a 5 pointed security bit for the au airbag The guys at ford were awfully confused, they'd never head of such a thing, until 1 out of 3 there piped up, yeah we send the cars to the springwood branch as those blokes have the tool. ![]() ![]() ![]() by the sounds of it you could only get it through snap on or ford, and the guys at ford had no idea.

If its the factory screws/bolts, you can use a 5mm socket.
