My fuel consumption has dropped a lil bit after fitting an underdrive I still need to fit a new 02 sensor.
I use caltex 98 sitting on 16.4L. Not happy maybe different fuels really do make a difference !!?

Really? I'm getting 550km a tank in my NC on 91 octane Unleaded. Yet to do a hihway trip, but I'd be expecting 700+ to a tank!

Yea I could get 700 easy on highways .
N sorry to tell u but it's been proven that 98 lasts longer than 95 n 91. 91 is almost wiped out n replaced with e10 n that will f**k lots of engines so don't think about using that fuel..

Yes 98 lasts longer, I get 560km out of a tank of BP Ultimate. Not worth the $8 extra! By the way, E10 is rarer than rocking horse s**t in QLD. I don't use it.

Really shouldn't be eating more than 15l per 100 ... which I would say is on the richer end of consumption. Even with a number of stop-starts. Considering you are driving reasonably and not throttling the a** out of it from dead stops.

Our '81 4.2 litre VH Commo doesn't even eat that much in town running LPG for what its worth.
