Just wondering, when comparing Manuals to Auto's on dyno figures, Does the different gearing make much difference? Or do dyno's compensate for this?
Ie. Dyno a manual in 4th gear (straight 1:1 ratio) * 3.23 diff = XXX torque at the wheels which gets multiplied by revs to get power Vs. Dyno an auto in 3rd gear (say also 1:1 ratio) * 3.08 diff = less torque for same engine output (assuming drivetrain losses the same) = lower Rear wheel power figure? Thus if you put on a lower diff ratio you would get more RWKW because your torque at the wheels would be higher for same power output?
