thanx for your forsight :) your comment is helpful enough.
few reasons
a. the gates one was cheaper than the standard by $10
b.whats wrong with having blue and shiney thingd engine bay?
c. the parts dude said it would work ,so i made him promise i could bring it back if it didnt
d. the belt i have now is stretched heaps and is missing sections of ribs it still doesnt squeel
e. long warranty, much stronger ,less strech, higher heat and friction capabilities
d. imo gates would have to be the best brand in the world for thier products
e. i have spare tensioners and could easily add 4mm of extra metal if i
need to
f. personal gratification lol

A: Dont be a tight a***
B: Nothing is wrong but being a tight a*** is
C: The guy serving you telling you that sure if your used belt wont fit i'll gladly give your money back must be on crack as i wouldnt credit a used part if i sold it.
D: Thats cause its the right belt and the tensioner is doing its job, and because your a tight a*** the belt has perished.
E: What are you a drifter?
F: Wrong, Dayco is the better brand but thats my opinion.
G: refer to A:
H: Sif Pfft

Case closed, long and short of it buy the correct belt if you really want it blue get a spray can lol
